BArch (Hons)
Architectural Assistant

Ian joined the practice in 2023 after obtaining his RIBA Part I BArch at Nottingham Trent University. At university Ian gained a passionate interest in conservation and historic buildings while enjoying analysing the finer details within architectural design. He is a strong believer in working with existing buildings and feels that it is essential for an area to have an individual sense of place and for new buildings to be site specific and compliment their surroundings.

During his time at the practice, he hopes to build upon the knowledge he acquired at university while gaining a real-life insight into the reality of being an architect. In the future Ian hopes to go back to university and obtain his RIBA Part II MArch with the aim of becoming qualified.

In his spare time, Ian enjoys socialising with his friends and family over food and drinks and travelling when he can.
