Private Residential

The practice has carried out a large number of private residential extensions, alterations, refurbishments and conversions as well as one off new dwellings for individual clients. We work closely with our clients to design a home that suits their lifestyle and needs. Tailoring our services to meet their requirements, from obtaining the necessary approvals to seeing the project all the way through to completion on site.

Residential Developments

PDG Architects has a proven record and extensive expertise in delivering high quality housing schemes. From infill housing and flats schemes to large scale developments of up to 50 dwellings, maximising development of sites, including master-planning. As a result we maintain strong relationships with local and national housing developers, housing associations, estate agents and land agents within the region. Our designs respond to their context and create a sense of space. Underlying the practice approach are the core skills of listening, analysing and innovation irrespective of the scale of the project, to produce environments that meet and exceed our clients expectations

Commercial

The practice has wide range of experience in commercial projects, ranging from extension and alterations of existing premises to new-build offices and office developments, work places, retail and industrial schemes. Our understanding of commercial constraints, especially regarding budget and programme considerations, enables us to produce imaginative yet viable schemes maximising the potential for development sites.

Education

PDG Architects has a wealth of experience for producing imaginative building designs that importantly stimulate learning whilst providing the pupils and teachers the environment to promote education. The strength of the practice comes from the ability to consult with all users groups and to apply a well-developed and detailed design response to each project from extensions, internal refurbishment and remodelling of existing spaces to new build and campus master planning in Nursery, Primary, Secondary and FE establishments.

Historic Buildings

The practice has worked on a number of historic and listed buildings, working closely with local Conservation Officers together with Historic England to sensitively refurbishment, alter and extend the historic fabric complementing the existing buildings.
